Bella grumbled as she climbed into her RV. She hated those occasions where she fell into a rut.. and over what this time? A failed quest? She rolled her eyes at the windshield, at the large raindrops swirling into a puddle before her eyes.
"Maybe we should wait until--" "No," she said plainly, interrupting Belie. "Let's just go home." She'd managed to miss three friends' birthdays in the midst of her pity party. THREE! And in her recent attempts to actually be a good friend and maintain a social life, this was a major setback. No wonder people often stopped talking to her. She was a bloody lousy person. She knocked the gear into drive and careened out of the lot. "Good riddance Tromso," she said under her breath. It was supposed to be fun. She was supposed to quest SUCCESSFULLY with Belie, hang out with Ayden, do some sightseeing. And somehow, instead, she'd fallen into some unexpected emotional pit. "Bella, it's gonna be okay," Belie assured her. Bella rolled her eyes. "So they say," she mumbled. "So they always say."
