ABOUT Alizée de la Torre
Place of Birth: Lyon, France |
Alizée's PersonalityAlizée is a quiet young lady who works incredibly hard. In fear of having a breakdown, she harbors a lot of emotional pain but chooses to internalize rather than give in to the emotions. She is kind and extremely nurturing. She is also incredible passionate about her future dreams.
Alizée's BackgroundAlizée's parents met in Paris when Océane was 17 and Salazar was 19. Salazar had been on a summer trip with a friend, but was smitten by young Océane. Months after Salazar returned to Mexico, he found out that Océane was pregnant. Though he was out of funds to travel, Salazar worked hard to secure a stable job in Puebla, Mexico with the promise that one day he would marry Océane and they would live happily as a family. Three years after Alizée's birth, Salazar not only had a stable income, but he'd also been able to buy a home for his family and a plane ticket for them to join him in Mexico.

Alizée arrived in Mexico, speaking nothing but French. At first, Salazar was upset with Océane for not teaching their child any Spanish or even English, but eventually, he forgave her and they were soon married. Barely, a month into their marriage, Océane found out she was expecting again, and months later, Alizée's younger sister Anabel was born.
Though Salazar had a sable income, life in Puebla was not easy. When Alizée was 13 years old, Salazar was fatally struck by a bullet that was not even intended for him. The house was repossessed, and the de la Torre family found themselves homeless for a while. Océane began working hard to support her children. When Alizée was 15 and Anabel was 12, Océane became ill. She did not seek medical attention until a year later when her illness had debilitated her.
Zoé, Océane's older sister who lives in London, suggested that she flew the family over to the UK to get Océane the treatment she needed. Unfortunately, after a brief fight, Océane died.
At age 17 and 14 years of age, Alizée and Anabel had not only found themselves in a strange new land with a language that they were not used to hearing or speaking on a daily basis, but they were also orphaned. While Alizée is fluent in English because of her studies, she still found it difficult at first to adjust to life in England.
Currently, the girls live in London with their aunt Zoé, her husband Jack and their children Lee (4), Joseph (3), and James (2). Zoé and Jack are both very busy and often leave Alizée and Anabel in charge of their three boys.
Alizée, who'd developed a love for dance over the years, yearned to be officially trained, but without money, there had never been a way for her to train as she wanted to, let alone gain a proper education. Alizée was mainly self-taught, and is extremely ambitious and tries to be optimistic despite her bleak past. She hopes to one day gain training to become a professional dancers, but right now her priority is looking after her sister and trying to get an education.
