Elias Jeremy's PersonalityEli is passionate about knowledge and research. He often quotes statistics and since he has an eidetic memory, he remembers a lot of facts about almost everything. Eli is also extremely loyal, especially to his fiancee, Aelin.
Elias Jeremy's BackgroundElias Jeremy is the youngest of the Rosewell-Barthel children. In his early teen years, he became an older brother to his half-sister Aubrey. At first, his life was consumed with the excitement of finally being an older brother, but at the age of sixteen, he strayed away from his family. Everyone he knew seemed to have lives of their own that didn't include him. So for over a year, Elias Jeremy wandered through London, looking for his purpose.
Eli was a brilliant child, often getting bored with the topics in school, but grasping more difficult studies such as philosophy and various sciences. Yet at the age of sixteen, he was uncertain of what to study at the university. |
Although he is the son of two very wealthy parents and has a plethora of money stored in his savings account, Eli has always wanted to earn his own money. At the age of 17, he appealed to the owner of a taxicab company in London and got a job as a cab driver. It was in the summer of year 80, he picked up a passenger at Heathrow airport that changed his life. His new friendship with Aelin led him to making a crucial decision about what he wanted to study in school.
Eli and Aelin's relationship progressed rapidly and soon they became boyfriend and girlfriend. They moved in together in an apartment near the university and a couple years later, while doing some research on abandoned houses, Eli found a house that had been abandoned by its owners. After discovering that all owners and heirs of the house were deceased, he purchased the deed from city hall and began restoring it.
After three years, Eli earned his Bachelor's degree in Archaeology and was accented into a programme in Greece, working on an excavation sponsored by the university there. After half a year in Greece, he was transferred to India. After a quick break in London, in which he spent time with Aelin and worked more on their house, he began working at an excavation site in India as well as volunteering at an orphanage nearby. While in India, he gained a few friends, including a pregnant woman by the name of Ziya. One day, Ziya went into labour and Eli ended up delivering the baby. Grateful to Eli, Ziya asked him to be her daughter's kobefather.
The following night, Eli received a call from the hospital in London to inform him that Aelin was miscarrying. Fortunately, it was only a threatened miscarriage and Aelin and Eli welcomed a baby girl, Athena Primrose, into their lives in the Spring. Approximately two years later, the family was summoned to India where Ziya had fallen ill. On her death bed, she asked that Eli and Aelin legally adopt Mishaye. After months in India, the family - now with 4 members - left India for a 'new' life in England.
Currently, the family still lives on the outskirts of London. The girls are in school, and everyone has adjusted to the changes that occurred in the years before. Occasionally, the family visits India.

The Abandoned House
While doing research for a class paper, Eli found an abandoned house online and decided to take Aelin with him to check it out. Right away, Aelin fell in love with the house and started imagining a life there. On Aelin's birthday in year 81, Eli tracked down the deed and property tax for the house, putting it on both his and Aelin's name. They are now currently, slowly reviving the house whenever they have the chance, but it would be years before the house is truly livable. |
