Bella gazed at her reflection in the mirror a while longer. She had her share of bruises now. In just one week, it seemed like she'd been knocked to the ground more than she had in her entire life. He muscles ached, her bones felt bruised, and her face felt too sore to even grimace. Yet, all she could think was: "I'll be better next time."
It had been an amazing experience, being in New York and being part of the tournaments. Outside of the tournaments itself, she'd also had quite an amazing experience. She had to focus on not smiling as the memory returned to her mind. His lips against hers, their bodies pressed close... She sighed and walked away from the mirror. Now it was time to get back to reality. She was still awaiting the scores, but she knew that she hadn't made it into the next rounds. She simply wasn't at the level as the others were... yet. But she'd be back... And she'd show them all... For now, she was going to be a "normal" person and spend some time with others her age. She picked up her phone to message Isa, telling her the'see each other soon again.
