There was another knock on the door. Bella frowned and looked up from her journal. It was one of her mother's personal assistants--a nanny this time--and Bella didn't care much to talk to the woman. "I'm fine!" she called out, turning her attention back to her journal.
"It's just after noon, would you like something to eat?" Kathryn asked. "No, thanks," Bella politely responded. She rolled her eyes, thinking: I'm not a baby. "Okay," said Kathryn, and she took her leave. Bella rolled her eyes again. She'd been doing a lot of thinking lately. More frequently, people were starting to ask her questions about the future. How was she supposed to know? She just wanted to have fun and live life. She didn't think she wanted a career in music, and for some reason, that was shocking. It had been a while since she had officially done any gymnastics. Though that didn't mean that she'd stopped practising. Lately, Martial Arts has caught her attention. She sighed and closed her diary, sliding it into her knapsack before quickly slipping her feet into trainers, grabbing her skateboard, and heading out of her bedroom. She sneaked past the kitchen where Kathryn was preparing lunch, and she ran to the front door. As she opened the door, the security alarm beeped and Kathryn called out to her. "Bella?!" "I'm going out!" she called back. She quickly ran past the gates surrounding her parents' villa, hopped onto her skateboard, and quickly made an escape.
