This is the story of the hare who lost his spectacles... again. Now Hare was particularly busy that day. He had his share of errands to run, delivering packages and cleaning his part of the forest. Somewhere between tasks, he dozed of and awoke to find that his spectacles had gone missing... again. As it were last time, Newt and Bee were standing by. Yet, neither of them even did so much as blink in Hare's direction. Owl was fast asleep, and remained that way despite Hare's frantic motions. As Kangaroo went by, Hare asked, "Have you seen my glasses?" But with a simple, "no," he continued hopping away. Hare stumbled through the forest, distraught and exhausted. Hours and hours passed and dusk fell. When Hare finally colapsed on the forest ground, he heard a bird singing nearby, and he looked up to discover a mockingbird perched on a branch. "Is there a problem?" Mockingbird asked. "Well," said Hare. "Last time I lost my spectacles, everyone was eager to help. Now no one will offer their assistance." "Hmm," said Mockingbird. "That's unfortunate." He shruged and took to the air. However, he returned shortly with four words: "They're on your head." Comments #1. I absolutely pictured this in the original narrator's voice! Excellent work!
