Well this is a bittersweet Christmas. I've lost some friends... different circumstances. I rather not talk about that though. The sweet part is all the new life this popmundo year. My friends Angel, Katherine and Karlee gave birth... all to baby boys. All playmates for my Rico... speaking of Rico, I'm thrilled to have my son in my life. He makes living worthwhile. Just like his wonderful father, my husband, Roy. I love them so much. To my friends who are sad this season, just try to be happy. Even when it's hard. Make your own Christmas miracles. :)

One of my good friends, Johnny , has passed away today. He will be missed... it's sad he had to go. RIP, Johnny. They do say that when someone dies, a baby is born into this world. Congratulations to my friend, Karlee on the birth of her son! Comments
#1. Thanks babes sorry for your lost Alexia Carter (Karlee) #2. It's ok... I was prepared. But congratulations to you!!! I'm so happy for you. Rosa Rosewell-Barthel #3. Thanks! Alexia Carter In the midst of happiness there always seems to be sadness lingering in the shadows... just waiting for the opportunity to pounce when we least expect it. Why does the past plague one's memories? Why can't bad recollections just disappear?
How can something - almost the same thing - happen over and over? Why do friends disappear all of a sudden, never to be seen again. Why does it hurt every time? The soul needs time to heal. Can't sorrow and despair take a break for once? Why must happiness always flicker like a weak candle flame? I feel like such a mother/big sister this halloween. I went to the shop a little while ago and bought 6 pumpkins. Then I took them all home and spent lots of time carving them. It was probably a funny sight to look at. Me, rushing, trying to carve 6 pumpkins at once. Even Rico was looking at me like I'm crazy. He got the first jack o'lantern I made. Then I took the other 5 to the nursery school, and gave them to Rico's little aunts and uncles. Lol... (Well, except Noah. He's at the airport). But anyway, that's my celebration for the day. :) See, Kristel. Don't I make a good sister-in-law and babysitter? Comments
#1. Rosa you are the best sister in law and babysitter I could wish for!! Kristel Duyvelshof #2. Hahahaha.. yep you are the best there is :D Roy Barthel #3. *giggles* Thanks, Kristel! Thanks, Roy! :) Rosa Rosewell-Barthel With a throbbing heart and tears in my eyes, I left my band. The band I created originally with another friend of mine. The band that my last bandmate unexpectedly quit. The band that I'm now leaving a friend behind in... It was a hard decision - not something I wanted to do. I just had to... And that makes me feel like a bad friend. Comments
#1. *gives tight hug* You're not a bad friend, you care too much about her. Sofia Stoner #2. Sofia, you're always so comforting. Thank you that means a lot. *mwah* Rosa Rosewell-Barthel #3. *blushes* Thank you for your kind words, you're a special woman and your friends are very lucky to have you in their lives. Sofia Stoner #4. You're blushing, yet you're making me blush with your compliments. Thank you. *smiles* Rosa Rosewell-Barthel #5. You're deserving them. *smiles* And I hope we can become friends, it would be a honor for me. Sofia Stoner #6. *giggles* Thanks. Of course we can be friends. :) Hey, we're already friends... pretty much! :D Rosa Rosewell-Barthel #7. To a new friendship! :D Sofia Stoner #8. Cheers! ;) Rosa Rosewell-Barthel #9. Cheers! :) Sofia Stoner Has anyone ever felt like they were going to lose a good friend? Like they were just going to disappear from your life? It's rather heartbreaking... especially when you feel like there's nothing you can do about it... Then you can only hope that your feelings are wrong. Comments
#1. *hugs* It's hard to see our friends disappear. :( Sofia Stoner #2. Thanks for the hug. :) And yes it is... Rosa Rosewell-Barthel #3. Tell me more sweety ?! Roy Barthel #4. *sigh* You already know all about it, hon. Rosa Rosewell-Barthel Someone to talk with, to laugh with. Someone to cry with. When you're down in the dumps, a friend can lift you up. She's a shoulder to cry on, to lean on. He's there for you in your time of trouble.
Someone you can go to for advice. Who can tell you the truth even when you don't want to hear it. The truth isn't always easy to hear, but someone has to tell you. Sometimes we don't see our own flaws, but our friends can make us aware of these flaws - then we can adjust our attitudes. Sure, friends can fight, they can argue, they can disagree. But in the end, friends must love each other - for friends need each other. When good things walk out on you, a good friend walks in. When the world turns its back on you, you turn to your friend. Thank you to all those who have been good friends to me. I appreciate everything! Love, Rosa I'm really enjoying motherhood so far. Rico is such a good baby. He rarely cries, he sleeps most of the time and he lets mummy get work done. :)
I love watching those precious moments with Roy and Rico. Roy can sit on the bed for so long, cradling Rico in his arms. He likes it when Rico grasps his fingers and, let me tell you, that baby has a strong grip! It's little moments like these that make life worthwhile. Congratulations to Katherine on her baby boy, Ty. Amy's mum also had a baby - a girl. Congratulations Marloes ! After hours and hours of begging baby boy to start coming out, he finally listened to us. I woke up feeling really uncomfortable this morning so I decided to go for a walk in the park. Suddenly, my water broke! At first, I panicked because it was only 05:36 and there really wasn't anyone around. But I'm at the hospital now. :) My baby boy is about to make his debut! At last! Where's Roy? Angel? Anybody...? IT seems everyone is still asleep... Comments
