Emi was still fascinated with her mummy's belly. It was just growing bigger and bigger. Her mummy and daddy told her that there was a baby inside. Her baby brother. But Emi couldn't figure out how the baby got in there. She had a new book from mummy and daddy too. One that told her she was becoming a big sister.
This was definitely exciting news. She'd soon have a baby brother to dress up, to carry, to give lots of hugs and kisses to. But it was taking soooo long. Every day, Emi asked her mummy "Is baby bwotho coming today?" And every day, her mummy said, "Not yet, Emi." It wasn't all bad though. She still got to give hugs and kisses to her mummy's big belly. Sometimes she could feel her baby brother moving around in there. Every morning she said good morning to her mummy's belly and at bedtime she gave it goodnight kisses. Maybe her brother liked it in there. What if he never wanted to come out?
